Der Hopfen - Pellets vs Whole/Leaf/Natur vs Fresh/Wet

I don't disagree at all that you can get a sharper aroma and perhaps even flavor from fresh hops or even dried leaf/whole hops vs. pellets but to me the convenience and availability of pellets usually outweighs the downside.  The selection of pellet hops readily available from all kinds of US suppliers just blows away everything else.  Also I tend to buy hops in bulk for the strains I use a lot and being able to store them for months is important to me.  Occasionally I will order whole/leaf hops if I know I'm going to use them right away.  Once in a great while a friend that grows hops will give me fresh ones to put straight into a batch without drying them.  But mostly it's pellets for me.  I tend to brew maltier or at least evenly balanced beers anyhow so to me it usually doesn't make a big difference.  There are far more important factors that determine how good the beer comes out than what form of hops I use.
