Interesting comment re organic - I wonder how the organic movement is doing elsewhere. In Ireland, I think that it barely surfaces. However, I watched a BBC TV programme on Sunday (Countryfile) that reported a big fall in sales of organic food in the UK. Main reason was the additional cost: they demonstrated a basket of non-organic goods that cost £13-ish against £18+ for organic - a big difference in these hard times. Also, there has been a big jump in sales of 'ethical' goods, which seem to have become the must-buy products. Still, the organic market is worth £1.5 billion in the UK, so it's still a fair slice. A few smaller brewers boast organic beers (St. Peter's?) but I wonder what impact they have made.
