Franken beer in England |

Hi - first post! Just found this website (well done whoever set it up) and it's making me homesick for Franken! (Homesick in the sense that I lived in Nuernberg from 1990-97 and make occassional visits back when the mortgage permits!) Does anyone know where/if you can buy Franken beer in England? I have looked on beersofeurope.co.uk but I was trying to find Krug, Meister or Hetzelsdorf beer. No joy unfortunately. If no one knows of any UK outlet for these beers which of the ones on beersofEurope's website would you recommend (Vollbier/Dunkles is preferred)? Oh, and while I'm on the subject of Franken, has anyone ever seen a restaurant in England that serves Schäuferle (I know it's a really long shot, but if you don't ask you never know!) Thanks in advance and happy drinking, David |
