Is that too much to ask? No, I didn't think so. Right, get started! Yes :-) I bet that we will not be able to even create a list of top3, not talking about top10, with these conditions. I think that you have to take a look where Unetice 10° and Hendrych H8 (8°) is on tap. Other small breweries do not regulary brew low gravity beers, unless you are interested in crap from biggest breweries (i.e. marks Krušovice, Staropramen, Starobrno, Kozel, ..), but these are usually not available in non-smoke restaurants with haute cuisine. Why are you so interested in these 8°-10° lagers? These are usuallly deeply attentuated, providing a lot of ABV while saving on ingredients. Common Pilsner-Urquell has something like 11.9°, but just 4,2 or 4,3 ABV, which is lower than many 10° from other breweries. Also be careful with looking for ABV, as the numbers on the label aren't precise enough (AFAIK, for beers under 5% ABV, there is a tolerance +/- 0.5% ABV, for beers over 5% the tolerance is even +/- 1.0%). That means that if label says that it has 3.8%, it could be 4.3% in reality. |
