Too many tourists |

| It was only of his earlier posts -- the table was reserved from a particular time and the reservees showed up for the their table. I guess I've done the same thing, so in that I don't have much sympathy for Barry there -- I like this way of doing things (posting the time on the table) rather than just blocking off the table for the evening. (And if I'm describing it wrong Barry, I appologive) I have noticed the increased number of tourists -- not all of it is the riverboat cruises, but that effects Schlenkerla the most as that is one of the stops on the 3 hour Bamberg tour (and maybe the only beer stop). There are a lot more German tourists and a lot more European tourists. I heard more Spanish and Italian and ??? when I was there in May then I ever have before. It is also harder to find hotel rooms, which isn't due riverboat tourists. |
