German rail pass offer: Americans Beware

Warning to Americans: These Bahn Cards sound good, but they are a nightmare if you try to cancel them and don't live in Germany. I had one once, and the next year I did not want one, but they automatically renew them, and there is no easy way to cancel from abroad. Eventually Deutsche Bahn sent a collection agency (in the Netherlands) after me, and I had to pay for the year of unused Bahn Card and fines. Beware!
