Mahrs U rumor

I got a confirmation from Stephan that this rumor is true, that they will not have gravity barrels anymore, even in Winter.   He said the main reason is that their customers want their beer colder than it is served from a barrel.  He said there is no concern about over-carbonation because they do not use CO2 on their kegs, they use N2.  He also said they finish their kegs daily so they do not get old.  Apparently they have been serving kegs only in the Biergarten for 15 years.

So, things change.  Just kind of sad to see another tradition go away.
