It seems to me Nick that a lot of the Guys over the pond,dont get that IPAs are about balance. No good forcing your house yeast down to 1004,and combining that with vast quantitys of high alpha late hops.plus hop machines on the bar,or whatever! All that will result in, is the kind of beers you are describing. thin tasting,and non moreish.
