 The "Helles" is not really light; You'll get there an amber-coloured, spicy beer: low-carbonated and full of beautiful hop-aromas; not extremely bitter, but very aromatic !

 Dropped in with Jos Brouwer on our way to Salzburg for a BierIG fest. Had a friendly chat over very good beer. Jos almost had to tear me away. I remember dreading more driving when we had the real stuff here.

 Soft and very clean with some hop balance. Nice pale brown colour. A hit of toasted bread. Nice tap on the attractive small-town marketplace.

 You can get to Schlusselfeld on a bus that leaves Bamberg Bahnhof at 1300 and go back on a bus at 1610, which leaves you 2 and a bit hours to discover the delights of this lovely little market town. I enjoyed the Adler beer. It was very soft and just to my liking. A place I would go back to again.
